Customer Terms

These terms govern your use of Bookspot to book and manage appointments with a Business (the service provider). "You" means a Customer or a Guest making a booking. "We", "us" means Bookspot as the platform provider. By making a booking, you agree to these terms and to the Business's own booking policies.

Bookspot is an online booking platform. We are not a party to the service you book and we do not provide the service itself. The Business — not Bookspot — is responsible for delivering the service, for its quality, and for its own pricing and cancellation policies.

A booking request is an offer to the Business. A booking is formed when the platform displays a confirmation or sends a confirmation email. You must provide accurate name, email, and phone details so the Business can confirm and manage your appointment.

Prices shown on the platform are presented by the Business in its configured currency.Bookspot does not process payments, calculate tax, or charge deposits. Some services are shown as "free" or "contact for price" and carry no displayed amount. Any payment for a service is arranged directly between you and the Business — never through Bookspot.

You may reschedule or cancel a booking up to the Business's configured change cutoff — the interval before the appointment after which changes are no longer allowed. The cutoff is shown with the booking. Because Bookspot processes no payments, there is no charge for changing or cancelling, but a Business's staff may assist with changes outside the cutoff at their discretion.

If you book as a Guest, you control your booking through a secret Booking Management Link. The link grants control over that one booking only — it does not create an account or give broader access. Keep the link confidential. If you lose it, you can request a recovery link; if you believe it has been shared or compromised, contact the Business so it can be revoked and replaced.

You agree to provide accurate information and not to misuse the platform. You must not make abusive or fraudulent bookings, impersonate another person, attempt to access another Business's data, or use automated tools to scrape or spam the platform.

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you have certain non-excludable guarantees. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bookspot's liability as platform provider is limited. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of a Business, including the quality, delivery, or pricing of the service you book. The Business is responsible for the service it provides.

We may update these terms from time to time and will publish the updated version on the platform with a revised date.

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Australian Capital Territory.
